《鄰家女孩》劇情簡介
尹默吉恩（克里斯汀·韋格 Kristen Wiig 飾）覺得，這個世界上，大概找不出第二個人像自己一樣失敗了。曾經被譽為編劇界的天才少女，不斷地在放縱和玩樂中揮霍著自己的才能，如今已經二十三歲卻依舊一事無成的她只能自導自演一個“假裝自殺”的劇本，希望能夠通過自己蹩腳的演技來挽回男友的心。
計劃失敗之后，尹默吉恩被送往了母親澤爾達（安妮特·貝寧 Annette Bening 飾）處接受強制監護，可是，比起女兒，澤爾達自己也好不到哪里去，好酒嗜賭，這樣一對母女湊在一起，簡直是一場災難。幸運的是，母親的房客李（達倫·克里斯 Darren Criss 飾）是一位靠譜青年，隨著時間的推移，尹默吉恩和李之間的關系越來越親近起來。
